Made for Kids is committed to helping parents improve the quality of life for their infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents who face developmental and behavioral challenges.  We provide services that are tailored to meet the specific needs of each child so that he/she can realize his/her full potential. Our approach is to use assessment strategies and treatment techniques that have been shown through research to be effective.  This ensures that each child is given the most effective services in order to promote his/her optimal development.

What is unique about Made for Kids?

We are able to combine our expertise in both developmental and clinical child psychology when conducting an assessment and/or developing and implementing a treatment plan.  This is important because the most effective treatment builds on the child’s and family’s unique set of strengths as well as treating clinical symptoms or difficulties.  We specialize in working with children from birth through adolescence and with their families.  We have considerable experience with the needs of infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents during each unique developmental stage.  

Who provides the services at Made for Kids?

Dr. Kristen Michener and Dr. Anna Edwards provide the services at Made For Kids. Drs. Michener and Edwards are both Clinical Child Psychologists. Each has specialized training and experience in Clinical Child Psychology and Developmental Psychology.
